Jimmy Owens, 63, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was born on May 17, 1960 in Lexington, Kentucky, son of the late Travis and Elizabeth (Jones) Owens. Jimmy served in the United States Army and enjoyed fishing, reading his Bible and working on cars. Jimmy believed in helping others any chance he could and for that reason he was an organ donor.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Megan Lynn Owens; his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Jamie Gaffney; one brother, Jeffrey Owens; one sister-in-law, Pamela Owens; his nieces and nephew, Melissa Owens, Jeremy Owens and Dayna Gaffney; one great-nephew, Christopher Owens. Besides his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by one brother, Danny lee Owens and his sister-in-law, Amber Owens.
