Jennifer E. Rayburn, 51, wife of Harold J. Rayburn, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Born in Delaware, OH, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Higgins and Lydia Louella Conley (Ronald Gene) Poe.

A mail handler for the US Postal Service, Jennifer loved sports and playing with her dogs. She was a devoted wife and mother and cherished her time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 27 years, she is survived by her children, Justin Rayburn (Jordan Perry), Georgetown, Jamie Rayburn (Tyler Hobbs), Georgetown and Emily (Thomas) Chaney, Mt. Sterling; sisters, Tammy (Charles) Preston and Tina (Billy) Mullins; brothers, Brett Matthew (Kimberly) Higgins, Jason Alan Higgins, Tom (Eddie) Loughridge and Eddie (Stephanie) Loughridge; grandchildren, Ariona Rayburn, Bentlee Rayburn, Natalee Hobbs, Abel Rayburn, Greyson Rayburn, Vivian Campbell and Violet Campbell; step mother, Deborah Higgins; as well as her best friend, Kristy McCarty.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by John Blanton. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tyler Hobbs, Thomas Chaney, Denver King, Bryce King, Clyde Harper, Cody Mullins and Ryan Mullins. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday and 10 AM till service time on Tuesday.
