Jean Moore Johnson, 92, widow of Donald L. Johnson, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025. Born in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Doloras Miller Moore.

A retired secretary with Eastern Kentucky University, she enjoyed making Christmas stockings for everyone in her family and was a dedicated Mom and Nana to everyone, not only her family. She was a member of First Christian Church, was active in the Disciples Woman's Fellowship and attended Southland Christian Church. She enjoyed watching the success of her family and seeing her family happy.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Vic) Brown; sons, Greg Johnson and Donn (Caryl) Johnson; grandchildren, Chad (Stephanie) Smith, Travis (Tiffany) Smith, Shawn (Poula) Johnson, Chris (Katie) Johnson, Amanda Johnson, Margaret "Maggie" Johnson and Alison "Ally" Johnson; 10 great grandchildren; nieces, Gloria Smith and Debra (Rick) Ballinger. In addition to her husband, to whom she was married to for 54 years and was completely loyal to, never once considering anyone else; and her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Dustin Smith and sister, June Cannon.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Kevin Comp. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner's Children Hospital.
