James William West, 51, husband of Angel Renfro West, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2023. A native of Georgetown, he was the son of the late Roger Lee and Brenda Faye Bowman West.

A former farmhand, he enjoyed fishing, singing and playing his guitar. A friend to all who knew him, he loved telling a good joke or just having a good conversation.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Jeff West and Dale West; sisters, Audrey Gregory, Vada Martin, Linda West, Marie West and Jeannie Jones; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rodney West.
