James Herbener Jr's Obituary
James Matthews Herbener, Jr, 69, husband of Kathy Lewis Herbener, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. Born in Hampton, VA, he was the son of the late James Matthews and Helen Dunn Herbener.
A thoroughbred horse breeder, he loved time on the farm and upland hunting.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by his daughter, Heather (Patrick) Ford; grandchildren, Reagan, Patrick, Vivien and Matthew Tucker Ford. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Ryan Herbener.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autism Speaks (https://www.autismspeaks.org/).
