James Dixon's Obituary
James Douglas Dixon, 68, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 at his home. Born in Cynthiana, KY, he was the son of the late Lester and Evelyn Parker Dixon.
He is survived by his son, Kendall Dixon, Cynthiana; step daughter, Kristen Sykes, Lexington; brothers, David (Diane) Dixon, Dennis (Barbara) Dixon, both of Berry, KY and Lester "Buck" (Pat) Dixon, Sadieville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Mulberry.
A retired factory worker in central Kentucky, "Jimmy" enjoyed vegetable gardening and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 24. His true passion was horses and he especially enjoyed going to the races at Keeneland.
Services will be private.
