Harry G. Dickerson, Jr, 84, widower of Linda Sue Dickerson, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024. Born in Georgetown, he was the son of the late Harry and Virginia Hawkins Dickerson.

A graduate of Georgetown College, he retired from Kentucky state government and was the former Executive Director of the Georgetown Housing Authority. A member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity, he enjoyed traveling, tasting the local foods on his journey, reading and time with his family.

He is survived by his son, Mike (Melissa) Dickerson; step-children, Chad Mullikin (Jennifer) and Cynthia (Will) Barber; grandchildren, Brayden Dickerson, Johnathan, Kennedy and Kendall Wilson, Alexandra (Tate) Mullins, Luke, Spencer and Bridgette Mullikin, Molly (Paul) Evans, Madison and Margaret Barber; 3 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Maryellen Mullikin; niece, Beverly (Jerold) Osser and nephew, Scott (Linda) Jarvis. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his step son, Richard Mullikin; and sister, Barbara Ann Jarvis.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity, conducted by The Rev. Karen W. Booth. Burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Mike Dickerson, Larry Stewart, Scott Jarvis, Austin Jarvis, Derek Jarvis and Dylan Jarvis. Visitation will be 11 AM Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
