Guadalupe R. Meras, born on April 12, 1932, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2025, at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roberto V. Meras; son, Roberto Meras Jr.; parents, Adela and Ismael Rodriguez; brother, Ismael Rodriguez; sisters, Antonia Santos, Virginia Salinas, Herma Jimenez, Gila Gonzales.

She is survived by her daughters, Lupita Meras and Sylvia Meras; grandchildren, Yesennia Y. Hernandez (Michael Hernandez), Robert A. Moreno (Leslie Ceja), Andrea E. Meras, Joel Elizondo, Cynthia Elizondo. Great Grandchildren, Emilina, Paxton Michael, Jorah Michael Hernandez and Robert Angel Moreno Jr.; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

SERVICES:

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary to begin at 6:30 PM at Ortiz Mortuary, Inc. (Chapel A)

The following day family will meet for Mass at 8:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, February 27, 2025, with interment to follow at 10:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
