Georgina "MiMi" (Groves) Gunnell, 68, widow of Jerry D. Gunnell, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024. She was born on October 9, 1955 in Cynthiana, Kentucky, daughter of the late George Groves and Peggy (Lanter) Groves McCollins. Georgina retired from Frank Shoop Auto where she was the warehouse manager.

Georgina is survived by her children, Brian (Leslie) Waugh, Faith (Phil) Gunnell Hall, Melissa (Shaun) Gunnell Revelle and Jody Gunnell; her nine grandchildren which she adored and they loving called her MiMi, Tyler Dee Hall, Grace Waugh, Hailey Sageser, Mason Waugh, Remington Hall, Jacob Smith, Kayln Beaver, Zack Revelle and Peyton Revelle; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Tonya Groves. In addition to her husband and parents, Georgina was preceded in death by one daughter, Amy Gerne Gunnell and one brother, George "GG"

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Johnson's Funeral Home from 11am until time of service at 1pm with Reverend Chester Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Colton Groves, Conner Groves, Tyler Hall, Marlin Manning, David Wahler, Jimmy Emmons and Grant Hodgson.
