George Edward Gardner Jr, 87, husband of Elizabeth Colwell Gardner, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Born in Quantico, VA, he was the son of the late George and Carmen Sanchez Gardner.

A former production supervisor with Bendix in Frankfort, he enjoyed a round of golf, was an excellent bowler loved square dancing. He was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King and was also an Army veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Carmen Gardner and David Gardner; step son, Jeff (Angie) Watts; sister, Lillian (Larry) Smith and brother, Louis Gardner; grandchildren, Lindsey and Caleb Gardner; and great grandchild, Emily Gardner

Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Monday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Father Paul Prabel. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 PM Monday till service time.
