Fredrick "Freddy" Lewis, Jr., 85, of Georgetown, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Fayette County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Fredrick Lewis, Sr. and Naomi Carr Lewis.
Freddy was a lifelong businessman and entrepreneur, owning and operating Lewis Used Auto Parts in Georgetown for many years. He was a hardworking man who built a life centered around family and the values that mattered most to him. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed farming, fishing, gardening, and caring for his horses. A longtime horseman, he was actively involved in the horse industry for many years as an owner, breeder, and caretaker, taking great pride in his horses and the relationships he built along the way.
He is survived by his children, Freddy (Jessica) Lewis III, Chris Stephens, and Brittany Lewis; his sister, Lucy (Mike) Duncan; grandchildren, Cole, Sofia, and Aubrey Lewis, Emily Elkins, Olivia, Cayden, and Westyn Coffey; and great-grandson, Roman Parsley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Teresa Faye Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Johnson's Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
