Francisco Torres passed away on October 20, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 89. He was born on October 14, 1936, in Luling, Texas. Francisco lived a long life that was rooted in the state he was born. His journey spanned nearly nine decades during which, he witnessed and experienced many of life's greatest obstacles including persevering through the aftermath of the Great Depression and raising 15 children. He was a hard worker and always ensured that his family had their daily essentials. He was a beloved father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed and warmly remembered.

He was preceded in death by his wife Delfina, his children: Federico I; Federico II; Francisco; Andrea; Amelia, and his grandchildren, Ashley; Ruby; Brenda; and Eduvigen IV.

Survived by his children, Josie; Dora; Gracie; Esmeralda; Francis; Sally; Angel; Jose; Salvador; and Moses. His 37 grandkids, 61 great grandkids, 10 great-great grandkids and his sister, Esperanza Mendoza.

His legacy of excellence will remain in the hearts of his beloved family members as they recall the life that he has led. He is now at peace with our Heavenly Father.
