Everett Lynn Johnson, Jr, 77, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023. Born in Georgetown, KY, he was the son of the late Everett and Sylvia Mae Tackett Johnson.

A former horse trainer, Everett also worked as a diesel mechanic. He loved vegetable and flower gardening as well as time with friends and family.

He is survived by his children, Brent Johnson, Melissa Montgomery and Tina (Bobby) Haddix; brother, Leron (Pam) Johnson; grandchildren, Brittany Hale, Justin Montgomery, Kayla Johnson, Cody Haddix and Casey Haddix; great grandchildren, Abigail Jarvis, Sammy Hale, Riley Montgomery, Landon Lacy and Kahner Collins; as well as his companion and life partner, Pat Butcher.

Visitation will be 3-6 PM Thursday at Johnson's Funeral Home.
