Ethel Bernice Bailey Henderson, 92, widow of James Wesley (JW) Henderson, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Born in Scott County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Hampton and Delilah Gardner Bailey.

A member of Harmony Christian Church, she was an excellent cook, loved to travel and was devoted to her family.

She is survived by her children, Rita Green, Robert (Jeannie) Henderson and Jeff Henderson; brother, Buford (Brenda) Bailey; sisters, Bonnie Morrison, Margie Bratton and Nancy King; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nora Lee Rodgers; brothers, Tom, John, Roland, Carrick and Roscoe "Rocky" Bailey.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Stan Holder. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Robert Henderson, Jeff Henderson, Kyler Henderson, Randy Green, Brad Green, Eric Harrison and Logan Green. Honorary bearers will be Scott Bacon and Terry Bailey. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday.
