Elijah Larry Jackson, 75, widower of Sherry Howard Jackson, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026. Born in Balkan, KY, he was the son of the late Hubert and Collen McCann Jackson.

A former electrician, he enjoyed fishing and loved visiting with his fellow veterans at the V.A.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Lundy; siblings, Della Porebski, Caroleen Stanley, Patricia Havelka, Glen Wilson and Harvey Wilson; as well as three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children, Larry Frankie Jackson, Jeremy Michael “JJ” Jackson and Christine Cross; and sisters, Shirley Wagner or Norma Irwin.

Services will be private.
