Dorothy Elizabeth Sames Mullikin, 92, wife of William N. Mullikin, Sr, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021. Born in Midway, KY, she was the daughter of the late James Walter and Hallie May Wise Sames.

A 1947 graduate of Midway High School, she was retired from the State of Kentucky and a member of the Georgetown First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crafts and was a homemaker for more than 50 years.

In addition to her husband of 73 years, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Mullikin-Snow (Earl) and son, William "Billy" (Connie) Mullikin; sister, Betty Ann (Bobby) Allison; brother, Joseph "Joe" (Shirley) Sames; grandchildren, Alyssa Mitchell, Hope Bramblett, and Natalie Mullikin; 11 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Mikhael Tyler Jones; brothers, William Sames, Paul Sames, Jimmy Sames, Raymond Sames and Edward Sames.

Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at Georgetown Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Jeremy Arnold and Jeffrey Sames.
