Dian M. Hammond, 70, wife of James Robert "Piddle" Hammond, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024. Born in Clark County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Asa and Anna Duff Denniston. A former CNA at Dover Manor, she was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, travelling and gardening.

In addition to her husband of 41 years, she is survived by her children, Robert (Donna) House, Shawna (Michael) Hobbs, James Richard Hammond and Michael (Melissa) Hammond; siblings, Jane Franklin, Mary Power, Donnie Denniston and Johnny Denniston; grandchildren, Timothy House, Tyler Brock, Braden Kirchner, Elijah House, Abigail House, Amber Chun, James Michael Hammond, William Joseph Hammond, Logan Hobbs and Lindsey Hobbs; seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Paul Joseph Cantrell; and brothers, David, Charles Ray and Everett Denniston.

A memorial service will be 7 PM Wednesday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 PM till service.
