Dewayne Warrix's Obituary
Dewayne Elwood Warrix, 55, husband of Kristy Dunaway-Warrix, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Elwood and Ollie Gray Warrix.
A former factory worker, enjoyed collecting baseball cards, anything Star Trek and was a proud Republican.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Crystal Warrix; step daughters, Olivia Chandler, Mackenzie Dunaway and El Dunaway; sisters, Cordie Embry, Donna Meyer, Julia Ann Morris and Chasity Warrix. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Warrix; and sisters, Shirley Tullis and Tammy Warrix-Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to the Scott County Humane Society.
Services will be private.
