DeQuantae McGowan-Allen, 26, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022. Born in Pontiac, MI, he was the son of Shavanda Allen, Louisville, KY and Archie Samuel, Jr, Pontiac, MI. A truck driver, he was an avid football fan, enjoyed boxing and was a devoted father to his boys.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Marzavier Allen, Mar'Ryan Allen; brother, DeAnthony Allen; girlfriend, Hayley Logsdon; maternal grandmother, Georgia Allen; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Samuel. He was preceded in death by his brother, Demontae Zacheus McGowan; grandfathers, James Allen and Archie Samuel, Sr.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday at Perfecting Praise Center (318 Chambers Ave), conducted by Pastor Tony Gooch and Pastor Glenda Liebschwager. Visitation will be 1 PM till service time.
