Dennis R. Van Maaren, 71, husband of Annie Dellavalle Van Maaren, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 after a brief but heroic battle against cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones who will strive to honor his memory of living life to the fullest.

Born in Newton, Iowa he was the son of the late Gerald and Imogene Van Maaren.
A graduate of Missouri State University, he was a Retired United States Army Aviation Officer. After his retirement from the Army, he worked for Autodesk Software Company in CA. After leaving Autodesk he became a Small Business Owner. He enjoyed the simplest of life's pleasures; gardening, shooting, and socializing all gave him great joy.

He is survived by his wife, Annie, brother Mike, two children Kristofer and Nancy and eight grandsons, Xavier, Gabriel, Darien, Aiden, Clayton, Dylan, Jacob and Benjamin.

Graveside services will be 2 PM Monday, November 28, 2022 at the Georgetown Cemetery.
