Delroy Hughes, 75, widower of Agnes J. Hughes, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022. Born in Peoria, IL, the son of Agnes Pribble.

He was a 31-year veteran of CMWA in Paris, KY, loved working on his farm with this horses and donkeys and relaxing with his dogs and cats. He enjoyed baseball, basketball and listening to 50's and 60's music, specifically Motown.

He is survived by his children, Tonya (Randy) Simpson, Georgetown and Keith (Devon) Hughes, Paris; siblings, Joy (Carl) Brill and Thomas Power; grandchildren, Mackenzie Simpson, Jacob and Jeremiah Hughes. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Thea Power.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday at Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Randy Simpson, Keith Hughes, Jacob Hughes, Steven Revell, Lee Frazier, Randy Robinson, Bill Cox, and Treve Hester. Honorary bearers will be Jeremiah Hughes, Bill Brogli, Perry Norman, Chris Robinson, and Pat Foster. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday.
