Davion Lamonte Smith, 24, son of Candace Smith and Damon L. Franklin, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

Born in Georgetown, KY, he was a graduate of Scott County High School and excelled at football. His passion was writing and recording music. He believed in the "Higher Power" and that kept him going in life. His greatest gift from God was meeting strangers who were less fortunate, opening his doors to them and using his "good spirit" for those who needed to come in out of the cold.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Aryanna Franklin, Da'Mia Franklin, Derwin Franklin, Daylon Franklin, Kamron Stout, D'Mani Franklin and Devon Franklin; grandparents, Jocelyn Smith, Donna Franklin, Keith Martin and Stanley (Eugina) Smith; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, special cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Harry and Sarah Taylor, Sr, Beatrice martin and Louise Henderson.

A memorial service will be 11 AM Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Stephen Taylor. Visitation will be 10 AM till service time.
