David Alton Haynie, II, 52, Shepherdsville, KY, formerly of Georgetown, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025. Born in Tucson, AZ, he was the son of David Alton Haynie SR and the late Judy Slusher Jackson.

A commercial truck driver for Legacy SCS, David enjoyed playing the guitar and drums. He was a gun collector and also collected horror movie memorabilia.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Jennifer Dinger and Rachel Truesdell; maternal grandmother, Alene Slusher Houston; nieces and nephews including Lucian Dinger and Michael Dinger; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Destiny Fannin.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Trinity Assembly of God, Georgetown, KY, conducted by Pastor Carl Kelleher. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
