David Lee Henderson, Jr, 54, husband of Heather Holleran Henderson, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024. Born in Owensboro, KY, he was the son of Jennifer Hartz Henderson and the late David Lee Henderson, SR.

A Team Leader with the body weld division, he was a former Team Leader with special projects and had served with TMMK for 28 years. A member of Ss. Francis and John Catholic Parish, he was a sports fan, especially the University of Louisville and even more his grandkids. He enjoyed Nascar and loved attending concerts, having seen KISS more than 30 times live.

In addition to his mother and his wife of 23 years, he is survived by his children, Mariesa Nicole Henderson, Peyton David Henderson and Cameron Michael (Kelly Erin Hughes Henderson) Henderson; brothers, Leon (Bethany) Henderson, Brian (Katrina) Henderson, Johnny (Sarah) Henderson and Wesley (Brittany) Henderson; grandchildren, Oliver Elias Henderson, Shiloh Kent Henderson and Aracelis Storm Henderson.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday at Ss Francis & John Parish at Cardome, conducted by Rev. Gary Simpson. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at Johnson's Funeral Home and again at 10 AM Thursday at Ss Francis & John Parish Cardome. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ss Francis & John Parish at Cardome, 800 Cincinnati Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324.
