Dana Lee Mitchell, 57, wife of Norman Mitchell, passed away on Saturday, March 6th, 2021. She was born May 13th, 1963 in Fayette County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Peggy Joyce Johnson. Dana retired from the Fayette County Public School System, where she was the Food Service Manager. Dana enjoyed doing all types of crafts in her free time. In addition to her husband, Dana is survived by her son, Randy (Tasha) Mitchell; her daughter, Andrea (Zach Husband) Mitchell; two grandchildren, Raeleigh and Jordan Carrier. In addition to her mother, Dana was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Lea. Visitation will be Friday, March 12th from 10am until Noon at Johnson's Funeral Home, followed by a private service. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Due to the current regulations, please wear a face covering and observe social distancing requirements while visiting with the family.
