Connie Charlene Barrett, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Born in Versailles, KY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard DeMoss, Eva and Garland McKee.

A former manager at Shoney's in Lexington, she enjoyed reading, was an avid UK basketball fan, but cherished time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Chris (Ashley) Cash; step- son, Kenny Barrett; grandchildren, Nolan and Carter Cash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Gary and Jesse McKee.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Brandon Ragland. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Nolan Cash, Carter Cash, Chris Cash, David Brandenburg, Brad McKee and Phillip McKee. Honorary bearers will be Ronnie, Donnie and Ricky Brandenburg. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time.
