Cody Jarrett "Rocket" Andrews, 37, husband of Kristina Austria Andrews, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Georgetown, Kentucky. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to William Carl and Tammara Ann Poore Andrews.

Cody was a former worker with TMMK and a proud Army veteran who served in Kuwait and Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his time in the Army, he received numerous commendations, including the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, and National Defense Service Medal, as well as other commendations for his service.

Cody was one of those people who was hard to forget. He was a natural comedian and loved making people laugh. He didn't know a stranger and could talk to just about anybody. He was a good leader and someone people could turn to when they needed help. Cody had a big heart and was always willing to listen, encourage, or simply be there when life got hard.

When he wasn't spending time with his family, Cody could be found lifting weights, watching WWII documentaries, gaming, listening to Journey, or sharing some random fact that nobody had asked for but he was happy to tell them anyway. He loved sweets, especially Reese Cups, and he loved breakfast food. In fact, if Cody wasn't at home or at the gym, there was a pretty good chance he was somewhere eating.

But for all the things Cody enjoyed, nothing meant more to him than his family. He loved them deeply and was incredibly proud of each of them and their accomplishments. He also loved his dog, Leelo Dallas Multipass, who was a very important part of his life.

In addition to his wife and parents, Cody leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Kacie Lin (Matthew) Majors; stepchildren, Kiyana Austria-Rios, Aidan Austria-Rios, Kevin Gonzalez Austria, and Jazlyn Austria-Gonzalez; five grandchildren; and his beloved dog.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, at Safe Harbor Baptist Church at 3:00 PM, with a service beginning at 5:00 PM in the Aloha Spirit.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to K9s For Warriors in honor of Cody's love of dogs and his passion for helping fellow veterans.
