Clark Moore was born September 18, 1936, in Scott County, KY, to the late George W. Moore and Dorothy Moore Robinson. He was a 1954 graduate of Ed Davis High School. After high school, Clark attended West Kentucky Vocational School in Paducah, Kentucky, where he received his barbering license.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at a young age and united with Wesley United Methodist Church. He faithfully served as Deacon, Trustee, member of the United Methodist Men, Sunday School, and choir. Clark was faithful in his attendance and service until he could no longer attend due to his and his wife's health.
Clark united in marriage to the former Ella Frances Patterson on August 19, 1955. And of this union of 68 years, they were blessed with the joy of raising a beautiful daughter, Jonnetta.

Clark was the owner of Moore's Barber Shop for thirty plus years until he retired. He had a successful business, which provided well for him and his family.

Clark transitioned this life into glory on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jonnetta Maria Moore; three sisters, Corine Moore, Linda Robinson, and Rose Custard; and four brothers, Edward Robinson Jr., Walter Earl Robinson, John A. Robinson, and Michael C. Robinson.

Clark leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Ella Moore, daughter, Teresa (Pastor Thomas) Persley Jr., son, Tony Patterson; grandson, Pastor Timothy (Natasha) Persley; great grandchild, Harmony Persley; one brother, Joel (Carol) Robinson; four sisters, Mary Martha Robinson, Ella Robinson, Patricia Robinson, and Dorothy (Richard) Bradshaw; two sister-in-laws, Doris "Kim" Hughes and Cora Lindsey; special niece and nephew, Sandra and Dale Young, great nephew and niece, Daniel and Aniya Harding; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. Affectionately, known to his nieces and nephews as, "Uncle Steady", he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at First Baptist Church Georgetown, services conducted by Pastor Rodney Mason. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
