Christopher C. Combs, 89, widower of Betty Jean Burgin Combs, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023. Born in Lost Creek, KY, he was the son of the late Alex and Cora Neace Combs.

He was the former owner/manager of the Boone County Farm Supply and later, with his wife, owned Combs Escort Service, a trucking company escorting wide diesel trailer loads. He enjoyed travelling, gardening and was a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky where he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and continued on with his love of UK athletics.

He is survived by his daughters, Joy (Andy) Duddey, Georgetown and Gina (Carl) Noe, Richmond; as well as his beloved Border Collie, Heidi. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his twelve brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clancy's Dream Inc, 8092 Heather Pass, Seymour, IN 47274. Clancy's Dream is a rescue for Border Collies.
