Charles Wayne Courtney, 68, husband of Sandra Garland Courtney, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026. Born in Covington, KY, and raised in Burlington, KY he was the son of the late Charles Finely and Daisy Hampton Courtney.

A truck driver, Charlie's true passion was riding his Gold Wing motorcycles. He was an active member of Victory Baptist Temple and cherished time with his family and dogs, Giselle and Winston

In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his sons, Matt (Sherry/#4) Courtney and Chad Courtney; sister, Patsy (Paul) Gallat; brothers, David (Debbie) Courtney and Robert Courtney; grandchildren, Zachary (Brittaney) Courtney, Haley Courtney, Morgan Courtney, Courtney Howard and Chloe Jefferson; great-grandchildren, Briar, Kaisen and Lynnen Courtney and Violet Perry.

A memorial service will be 2 PM Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Victory Baptist Temple, conducted by Pastor Chuck Miracle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Temple, 213 Gano Ave, Georgetown, KY 40324.
