Charles Lee "Big Bubba" Blount, 63, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023. He was born on June 11, 1960 in Germany, son of Mary Massey Blount and the late Willie F. Blount. Charles had worked for Sweats Moving Company for many years and he enjoyed playing cards and detailing cars.

In addition to his mother, Charles is survived by his children, Charles Miller, Samantha Miller, Brandy Miller, Anthony Beatty, Marla Beatty and Calvin West; seventeen grandchildren, Landon Hale, Isaiah Jett, Tyllek Miller, Eligah Miller, Jessi Lynn Hale, Ty'Varrius Miller, Charmaine Waters, Vamaria Coffey, Jamaria Coffey, Victoria Coffey, Jayla Singleton, Jaelynn Beatty, Quemaria Singleton and Quadae Singleton; sister, Martha Blount; and his best friend, Terry Lee. In addition to his father, Charles was preceded in death by one son, Charles Blount.

A memorial service will be 12 PM Friday, October 6, 2023 at New Beginnings Church (929 S. Broadway). Visitation will be 11 AM till service time.
