Cecil Lewis Evans, 97, widow of Gloria Ferro Evans, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025. Born in Oak Hill, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Elbert and Allie Wells Evans.

A retired account manager for 46 years with Appalachian Power. A Korean War Army veteran, cherished time with his family, loved sharing stories with his grandchildren, and working in his yard.

He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Lynn Snyder and LeAnn Evans (John) Ivey; grandchildren, Matthew (Cathi) Cavender, Megan (Mark) Mangione, Lindsay (Jeb) Tyson and Evan (Addie Navarro) Byrnside; great grandchildren, Morgan Priddy, Madison Cavender, Ava Mangione, Spence Tyson and Rhodes Tyson. He was preceded by his wife of 72 years, his parents, and his siblings, Theron Evans and Hilda Evans.
