Carolyn Sue Cordle, 86, widow of Samuel Cordle, passed away Friday, August 7, 2026. Born in Ashland, KY, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Virginia Fannin Newberry.

A former beautician, Carolyn was an avid doll collector and held a passion for animals, especially the dogs she cared for in her home. She was an accomplished painter, sharing her art with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Teresa (Kevin) Hines, Tracy Lynn (Gary) Tomlin and William L. (Kimberly) Hall; grandchildren, Kenton (Samantha) Hines, Macy (Bryson) Peters, Katherine Tomlin, Madison Tomlin, Trey (Brandy) Tomlin III, Allison Hall, Ashley Hall and Hailey Hall; brother-in-law, Steve Kirkham; as well a great grandchild due in October. She was also preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Kirkham.

Services will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ashland, KY at a later date.
