Caroldean Hilander Adkins, 92, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Born in Nicholas County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Cleveland and Eula Hardwick Hilander.

Caroldean was a long-time member of Dry Run Baptist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Dennis) Fallang, Larry (Sherry) Adkins and Wes (Kathy) Adkins; siblings, Geneva D. Rutledge and Gaylord Hilander; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Ansel Douglas "Bud" Hilander, William Harold Hilander, Marilla Shrout "Redi" Hilander, Marian Lucille Allen, Janice Maureen Faust and Ruth Derin Butcher.
