Carlos Rios Granado born October 24, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas passed from this life on August 31, 2025, at the age of 77 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Granado cherished his time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to spoil them. His favorite pastime besides spending time with family was watching wrestling, football, fishing, and drinking Modelo Beer. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nelida H. Granado; his parents, Ambrosio and Ines Rios Granado; brothers, Fred, Manuel, Ambrosio Jr., and Jose Granado; also by his son-in-law, Roger Sanchez. He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Jane (Gilbert) Lopez and Carla Joyce Sanchez; brothers, George Granado, Antonio (Nancy) Granado, Arturo Granado, Guadalupe (Gracie) Granado; sisters, Ines (Richard) Tellez, Lillie (Pete) Guerra, Olivia (Charlie) Perez, Herlinda (Henry) Delgado; grandchildren, Matthew Granado, Julia (Scott) DuPont, Clarissa (Robert Soto) Lopez, Alyssa (Philip Briseno) San Miguel, Bethany (Nathan Villasenor) Jonah Lopez and Rebekah Lopez ; great grandchildren, Kristabella and Joshua Briseno, Robert N. Soto, Daniella and Alina Villasenor, Ellie Rae Soto and Xavier Briseno; as well numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
