Carl Francis Hamon, Jr, 59, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024. Born in Georgetown, KY he was the son of the late Carl and Uneeda Hamilton Hamon.

A bus operator for Lex Tran in Lexington, he was a devoted Christian and spent his time caring for his faithful companion, Marley. He enjoyed cars and riding motorcycles and caring for his various plants.

He is survived by his children, Braxton Hamon and Skylar Hamon; niece, Nita (Glenn) Cappello; nephew, Jim Burton; and dear friend, Dottie Linder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Della Burton.

Funeral services will 1 PM Thursday, May 30 2024 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
