Callie Ruth Quillen, 78, widow of the late Donald Quillen, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Born in Harlan, KY, she was the daughter of the late Jake and Madge Taylor Mefford.

The former owner of Class Cuts in Georgetown, Callie enjoyed sewing and quilting. Her true passion was her family especially time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Clayton) Lewis, Georgetown and Edgar (Lynn Underwood) McDaniel, Jr, Cynthiana; sister, Elezan Fee, Louisville; grandchildren, Zackary (Haley Enriquez) Lewis, Georgetown, Jennifer McDaniel and Danielle McDaniel, both of Avon Park, FL; great grandchildren, Blake and Naomi Lewis, Georgetown, Zach and Julia Dunlevy, Avon Park, MD; special friend, Robert "Bobby" Bedford; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded by her siblings, Shirly Pryor, Mary Sue Saylor, Johnny Mefford, Carolyn Mefford, Willard Mefford, Leroy Mefford, Wilburn Mefford, Joe Lake Mefford, James Mefford and Jerry Mefford; grandchildren, Jonathan Edward Lewis and Jessica Elaine Lewis.

Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
