Buford Hall Bailey, 87, husband of Brenda Morrison Bailey, passed away Thursday, Sept 12, 2024. Born in Scott County, KY, he was the son of the late Lee Hampton and Delilah Gardner Bailey.

A true farmer, he worked many years for Clark Equipment and later retired from the Scott County Road Department. A member of Victory Life Church, he loved reading his Bible, hunting, fishing, taking care of the farm, but cherished time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by his children, Sherry Johnson and Matthew Hall (Joann) Bailey; sisters, Bonnie Morrison, Margie Bratton and Nancy King; grandchildren, Bridgette (Jesse) Burgess, Ashley Blackburn, Daniel Johnson, Amanda Osborne, Chase Bailey, Gage Bailey and Shelby Bailey; great grandchildren, Emma Burgess, Jimmy Burgess and Axel Burgess; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Nora Lee Rodgers, Ethel Henderson, Roscoe "Rocky", Tom, John, Carrick and Roland Bailey.

A Celebration of Life will be 11 AM Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Victory Life Church, conducted by Pastor Gary Toney. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
