Bonnie Morrison, 87, wife of the late Harold Morrison, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lee Hampton Bailey and Delilah Gardner Bailey.

A former bus aide and Janitorial staff member with Scott County Public Schools, she was passionate about spending time in her garden, canning food, and reading her Bible. She was most passionate about her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, whom she took care of as often as she was allowed. She was an active and long-term member of Lexington Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she attended with her family.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Vicky (Paul) Burton, Nina (Rob) Hillstrand, and Julie Morrison; sisters, Margie Bratton and Nancy King, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Morrison; brothers, Roland Bailey, John Bailey, Tom Bailey, Carrick Bailey, Rocky Bailey, Buford Bailey, Eugene Bailey; and sisters Emmajean Bailey, Ethel Henderson, and Nora Lee Rodgers.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2026 at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Romone Gibbs. Burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM till service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
