Billy Brown Jacobs, 87, widower of Newanna Marie Hale Jacobs, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Born in Owen County, KY, he was the son of the late Chauncey and Elizabeth Brown Jacobs.

A retired manager with IBM, he was a long-time member of Gardenside Christian Church, Lexington and also attended Southside Christian Church, Versailles. A very detailed and organized person, Bill enjoyed cars, watching sports and playing cards. Bill loved being a grandfather and cherished the opportunity to support his grandsons at their events.

Bill is survived by his sons, Matt (Stephanie) Jacobs and Stacy (Lauren) Jacobs; grandsons, Caleb Porter Jacobs and Joshua Forrest Jacobs.

A memorial service will be 12:30 PM Friday, March 13, 2026 at Gardenside Christian Church. Visitation will be 10:30 AM til service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gardenside Christian Church, 940 Holly Springs Drive, Lexington, KY.
