Betty Gorham MacElroy, 90, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. She was born on February 1, 1932 in Sadieville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Onie and Jewell (Gaines) Gorham. Betty was a retired administrative assistant at Raytheon Technologies and she was a member of North Dunedin Baptist Church in Dunedin, Florida. Betty enjoyed traveling, sewing and spending time with her dear friends in Florida.

Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Wayne and Shari MacElroy; her son-in-law, Richard Weiss; three grandchildren, Katie MacElroy, Jennifer (Doug) McQuinn and Shelby (Jamie) Overpeck; seven great-grandchildren, Mya, Jaylynn, Hudson, Destiny, Aubrie, Alivia and Carley; her niece, Lou Ann (David) Sunley and her nephew, David (Lynn) Gorham. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Weiss, her lifelong companion, Anthony Wallace and her brother, Robert Gorham.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Johnson's Funeral Home from Noon until time of service at 1pm with Pastor William "Willie" Cole officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to The American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 6704, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741.
