Barbara Ann (Dalton) Muncy, 89 went home to be with Our Lord Jan 24, 2025. Born July 14, 1935 in Martin County Kentucky to the late Thomas Jackson Dalton and Laura Ellen (Ward) Dalton. She also predeceases all of her siblings: Elizabeth (Frank) McLean, Mary Weiss, Thomas "June" (Bye) Dalton, Paul (Juanita) Dalton, Edward "Ted" (Shirley) Dalton, and William "Bill" (Pat) Dalton.

She is survived by many friends, nieces, nephews and her loving children: Thomas (Sara) Muncy, Tammy (Elwood) Stapleton of S. Carolina and Robert (Michelle) Muncy, Jr. of Kentucky. Grandchildren: James (Veronica) Stapleton of Illinois, Nicole (Robert) Campbell and Kelly (Brandon) Hawkins of S. Carolina. Cathy (Brandon) Muncy of Oklahoma, Alicia (Josh) Russell of Mississippi, and Robert "Trey" Muncy, III, and Rachel Muncy of Kentucky. Great Grandchildren: Elijah Blas, Logan, Wesley and Elizabeth Stapleton, James, Hannah and Olivia Russell, and Waylon and Aubrey Hawkins.

Barbara worked as a Convenience Store Manager, a Nursing Assistant and a Teacher's Aide. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and teaching them life lessons and old sayings that will be remembered forever.

Her son, Dr. Robert Muncy, Jr. as well as Rev. Harry Hargis will be officiating the Memorial Service, 5 PM Saturday, Feb 1, 2025 at Gano Baptist Church, Georgetown, KY. Visitation will be 3pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon's International.
