Audrey Myers Darnell, 59, wife of Ricky Darnell, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024. Born in West Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Matlean Adkins Mullins.

A retired office manager with Kentucky Utilities, Audrey spent countless hours volunteering at the Gathering Place Mission. She enjoyed crafts, painting, collecting unique rocks and quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 27 years, she is survived by her children, Austin (Kelli) Myers, Gregory Darnell and Julia (Robbie) Huellemeier; siblings, Danny Mullins, David Mullins, Dennis Mullins, Debbie Burburry, Donna Phillips, Alene Howard and Diana Jeffers; grandchildren, Jesse Myers, Gwyneth and Owen Huellemeier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Smith, Ronnie Mullins, Donnie Mullins and Geraldine Purcell.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Jeremiah Johnson. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Terry Garrison, John Ruber, David combs, Thomas Bryant, Bradley Darnell, Charlie Fitch, Reed Rutledge and Kai Rutledge. Visitation will be 5-8PM Friday.
