Arturo

April 10, 1944 - August 9, 2025

Arturo served honorably in the United States Army.

He then worked tirelessly for over 23 years at Turbine Support Division as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.

He enjoyed working on cars, cooking, bowling, taking trips to Vegas with dear friends, spending time with his family and dancing with his beautiful wife. He attended Vietnam Veteran events every chance he had. He was the biggest Holmes Husky fan ever! He was a great man and will forever be missed.

He is survived by his loving children, Arthur "Boy" Martinez, Paul Martinez, Alex Martinez, Maria Juarez, Enriqueta Wetzel, & Arturo "Tudy" Martinez.

He is preceded in death by his (Wife) Imelda (Millie) R. Martinez, (son) George Mireles, (Parents) Dora Biayobzcki DeHoyos & Jose Martinez, (brothers), Roberto Martinez, Joe B. Martinez, (sisters), Sylvia Ann & Lydia.

Services will be held on (Monday) August 25, 2025, at the Ortiz Mortuary visitation from 4pm - 8pm. Rosary will be at 6pm. (Tuesday) August 26, 2025, at Ortiz Mortuary from 9am -10am with a dismissal of 10:15am to St. Dominic Catholic Church for a 11am arrival. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery on (Tuesday) August 26, 2025, for a 1pm arrival.
