April Carol Taylor, 57, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lorraine Brandenburg Williams and Robert Taylor.

April was an early childhood teacher for 30 years, was CDA certified with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and most recently worked with the Georgetown Child Development Center. She received many accolades from the state and parents of the children she taught. She enjoyed baking, cooking, reading and needlework. She cherished her family and time with them.

She is survived by her sisters, Sue Williamson, Fay Asher and Robyn Taylor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Regina Seagriff; and brother, Allen Keith Bruin.

Funeral services will be 12 PM Friday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Glenn Redmon. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Kent Campbell, Todd Williamson, Shane Asher, Jeff Mudd, Ricky Brandenburg and Nick Key. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time.
