Anna Fay Asher, 76, widow of Waldo "W.C." Asher, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late James William Bruin and Lorraine Brandenburg Williams.

A dedicated wife and mother, she enjoyed cooking, sewing/embroidery and was an avid reader. She was an accomplished artist, always making a sketch, painting and was even recognized by Norman Rockwell for her work. She loved music and would sing with her husband when she was younger. She sang in the choir at Bethel Presbyterian Church where she also taught Sunday School.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Renee (JW) George, Bandera, TX, Daniel Shane (Kim Northern) Asher, Georgetown and Brittany LaMara (Nick) Key, Ft. Bragg, NC; sisters, Sue Williamson and Robyn Taylor; grandchildren, Dalilah Marley, Zoe Key and Sophia Key. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Allen Keith Bruin, Regina Seagriff and April Taylor.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Glenn Redmon. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
