Ann Marie James, 86, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Luther Calvin and Nell Carter James.

A member of Georgetown First United Methodist Church, she was often caught with a smile on her face and friending those around her. An avid UK fan, she resided at Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Owenton, KY for the past 28 years.

She is survived by her sister, Jane Carol James Faulconer; sister-in-law, Sue James; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dr. Richard C. James and Dr. L.C. James.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Pastor Andrew Singh. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be R.C. James, Calvin James, Jayden James and Jaxton James. Honorary casket bearers will be the staff of Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Visitation will be 11 AM till service time.
