Anita R. Rodriguez
June 27, 1938 – August 4, 2025

Anita R. Rodriguez, born on June 27, 1938, in Charlotte, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2025, at the age of 87.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ramon S. Rodriguez; her parents, Antonio and Dolores Rodriguez; and her brother, Reynaldo Rodriguez.

Anita is survived by her loving children: Dolores (Martin), Rosa (Eddie), Olga (Jesse), Raymond (Lucy), Diane (Adam), David (Norma), Randy (Linda), Rick (Monica), and Ernest (Jennifer). She also leaves behind her brothers, Antonio Rodriguez Jr., Gilbert Rodriguez, and Daniel Rodriguez; sisters, Betty Carrion, Barbara Walters, and Helen Bocanegra; 22 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Anita was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM at Ortiz Mortuary, Inc., Chapel A. Chapel doors will reopen on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 8:00 AM. The funeral procession will depart at 10:00 AM for interment at Mission South Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
