Angela Sue Blankenship, 72, wife of Mike Blankenship, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021. Born in Georgetown, KY, she was the daughter of the late Agee and Opal Simon Hamilton.

Retired from the Bourbon County Clerk's office, she was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church. She led the choir for many years and sang at many weddings and funerals. Her greatest passion was her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Melissa Adams, Jennifer (Gary) Phillips and Cindy (William J) Fooks; step children, Jennifer Blankenship and Michael Blankenship; sister, Jennie Cannon; grandchildren, Jenna (Justin) Sebastian, Jordan Adams, Courtney (Jacob) Goodman, Justin Baldwin, Xavier Byars, Jake Fooks Ben (Katie) Fooks, Kaylyn Blankenship, Justin Blankenship, Mason Blankenship and Ty Blankenship; as well as four great grandchildren and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Harvey Kevin Wynn.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday at Johnson's Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Philip D. Ronk. Burial will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Justin Baldwin, Jordan Adams, Jake Fooks, Ben Fooks, Justin Blankenship and Mason Blankenship. Honorary bearers will be Hamilton Neal, David B. Glass, Ty Blankenship, Joe Fooks, Gary Phillips and Michael Blankenship. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spears Mill Baptist Church.
