Alma U. De Leon

Alma U. De Leon, born on November 2, 1939, in Pearsall, Texas, passed on February 28, 2026, at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roman R. De Leon; her parents, Antonio and Christina Gallegos; her sister, Thelma Barrios; brother, Rogelio Gallegos; her daughter Barbara Deleon;her daughter-in-law, Lorena De Leon; brother-in-law, Manuel Aguilar.

Alma is survived by her loving children: Roman De Leon Jr. (Socora), David De Leon, Eddie De Leon, Guadalupe Martinez (Paul), Danny De Leon, Gilbert De Leon (Celia), and Johnny De Leon (Lori). She is also survived by her sister, Margarita Aguilar; her sister-in-law, Mercedes Gallegos; brother-in-law, Steven Barrios; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Alma will be remembered for her love of family, her strong faith, and the warmth she shared with all who knew her.

A memorial service will held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1535 W Lawndale Dr., San Antonio, TX 78209.
